Faith and presence
Forza Lupi.
A hard-fought and high-character win for Campobasso in Monday night’s late match against Vis Pesaro. The Rossoblù went behind after just seven minutes due to a defensive lapse and struggled to respond in a dull first half, with the team stretched and lacking sharpness. In the second half, however, the substitutions completely changed the momentum of the game: Gala’s introduction in place of Livio brought balance and quality, allowing the Wolves to push higher up the pitch and attack with continuity. The equaliser came from Salines with a header, while the winner deep in stoppage time was scored by Gargiulo—again with a header—making amends for a defensive mistake moments earlier that had led to a Vis Pesaro goal later ruled out for offside.
The 2–1 victory now sends Campobasso into Sunday’s crucial 12:30 clash at the AXUM1! Molinari against the in-form Juventus Next Gen: a win would see the Rossoblù catch them in the standings. Meanwhile, the issue of the Curva Nord “Michele Scorrano” protest against B teams remains open; the club has called for a rethink and discussions within the organised supporters are ongoing. The hope is to see a strong turnout in the stadium, with the fans standing beside the team and the club—perhaps with a large, clear banner to show their support.
Forza Lupi. 🐺❤️💙
